CONSTRUCTION OF THE SWEATER
The pattern is worked from the top down in a raglan style and constructed as one piece. Youโll begin by working the neckline edge. From there, four increase points are created to shape the sleeves and body evenly. As you continue, these increases are repeated until the required bust measurement is reached and the yoke is fully formed.
After the desired width is achieved, the sleeves are separated from the body so each section can be worked individually. The body is continued first to your preferred length, then the sleeves are completed one by one, continuing in the same stitch pattern.
To complete the sweater, you can add edging to the bottom hem and sleeves. For the sleeves, you can create a balloon effect by decreasing a few stitches, or leave the edge flat for a clean, polished finish.
